歷經半年的等待，首批15輛的HONDA 50週年紀念車款S2000終於運抵台灣，在整備之後，將於6月底開始交給早就預訂的車主。此一世紀超級車款的加入產品行列，更以事實證明了外界對HONDA汽車進口車代理權有可能生變的傳聞，純屬臆測之詞。
在完全沒有實車可供銷售參考的情況之下，HONDA S2000，在年初台北新車大展推出以來，已累積了10輛的訂單，所有已下單的車主，必需忍受長達6個月的等待期，這種對S2000的鍾愛程度，幾乎已達到了狂熱地步，不過這些車主的漫長等待，將隨著首批15部S2000的到港而稍得消解，在6月底時，這些熱愛S2000的車主們，將可以駕著自己朝思暮想的愛車，接受路人投以欣羨的注目禮，此時，相信這些長期等待的車主們，都會認為經過漫長等待的代價是相當值得的。
也由於首批S2000的抵台，HONDA汽車也將在HONDA汽車全省據點安排實車展示，讓各地無緣親見S2000芳蹤的消費者，得以有幾會一親芳澤，看看HONDA汽車50週年紀念車款世紀跑車的絕代芳華，此一展示，相信又會打動一些非看到實車不下單的準車主，進而創造另一波的銷售潮，不過這種擁有S2000的機會並不是很多，今年只有25席而已，錯過了可就又要等到明年了。
