榮獲15次TEN BEST CAR 及J.D.POWER台灣最佳汽車表現獎(APEAL)的HONDA ACCORD，日昨推出2001年全新改款車型，以提升安全指標與實用優質配備為主軸，SMART SRS智慧型前雙輔助器囊，預縮式自動緊束安全帶，降低爆震的抑制系統，低噪音量&震動的系統控制、如強化動力傳輸線之剛性、重心設計的曲軸連接桿活塞、全新的感應系統，更為車輛肅靜性改善增強全車達9項之多，大大提升車輛的寧靜品質。
搭配VTEC引擎高馬力的動力輸出，雙A臂與5-Link的懸吊完美結合，讓車主在動靜之間，都能夠隨心所欲精確的掌握行車狀況，內裝配備增加EX-S定速巡航裝置，V6核木真皮方向盤，EX-A配備8向電動座椅，人性化開關夜視顯示(化妝鏡、駕駛座)以及新仕樣一體式空調控制面板，IMMOBILIZER晶片防盜系統。外觀前水箱護罩為3.0L仕樣，前鷹眼頭燈下緣變更為白色，辨識性更加的上白下紅尾燈組，V6仕樣後牌照上緣鍍鉻條，裝有飾蓋的新霧燈設計，不同等級車款各增加了不同的高質感實用配備。
配合2001年全新車款的推出，HONDA ACCORD原廠環艙米色內裝，更成為全車系的內裝標準式樣，讓所有的ACCORD車主，都能享有清爽、明亮的車室空間；E-配備的2DIN Navi COMPAQ掌中領航員PDA，具有螢幕顯示(VCD)、擴充能力佳，可搭配 VCD(CD)、衛星導航、CALL CENTER等功能，視車主的需求即可輕鬆擁有。2001年HONDA ACCORD VTEC 2.0車價如下：EX-SS型，加VCD88.6萬，EX-S型85.8萬，EX-A型79.8萬，VX型73.8萬。
