在過去講求銷售理念的消費型態中，向來都不將消費者放在眼裡，只在乎公司利潤的多寡，而忽略消費者的需求在何處。如今，或許是受到全球景氣持續低迷之下，消費者對於自己的荷包可說是斤斤計較，每當要購物時，腦海裡不禁會想起要以花最少的錢、獲得最大滿足的念頭，這也顯現出消費者的主觀意識在近期變得更加強烈。於是各行各業為了求生存，紛紛拋棄舊有的觀念，改由強調處處為消費者著想的行銷理念，以面對消費者的時代；今天所介紹的主角—WIC，曾在去年底的東京車展亮相過，WIC外表看似概念車，但WIC卻是一部看消費者臉色的量產車，為何呢？日本HONDA汽車藉著東京車展人潮眾多的時機下，詢問來來往往欣賞WIC的消費者意見，結果反應相當熱烈，HONDA汽車遂決定於2月7日正式在日本當地上市。
第一眼看到WIC的外形，其直覺的觀感就是以怪異來形容，趨近於方正的車體，彷彿看到TOYOTA bB的分身，不過看久之後，倒是覺得有著另類美學的存在；WIC的車身尺寸為3395mm（車長） x 1475mm（車寬） x 1615mm（車高），是否發覺車高比車寬尺寸來的大呢？並非原廠提供數值有誤，是日本HONDA汽車刻意獨特的設計，如此一來，車主及乘客可擁有不錯的頭部空間，另外，行駛於窄小的巷子，根本難不倒WIC；由於WIC原本便不是從概念車所衍生出的車款，因此內裝部份並未有太多的高科技配備，皆是以實用為導向；而WIC的動力系統採SOHC引擎，並有2WD / 4WD傳動系統供選擇。
