HONDA的中型房車代表Accord，自1976年初代車型上市至今已邁入了第26個年頭，其間產品經過六次的改革，每一次的進階均受到全球消費者相當的好評。國內始引進之Accord為1985年第三代車款，藉著當時全球流行的類跑車啟閉式燈組及當時在水準之上的舒適乘坐空間，為往後的Accord車系奠定相當穩固的口碑。根據資料顯示，一直為Accord最大市場的美國，在去年便有41萬餘輛的銷售成績，TOYOTA Camry加上FORD Taurus去年總量甚至還不及於此。
說了那麼多，相信主角大家已經看到了，那便是全新第七代Accord。第七代Accord未來將繼續比照六代車款，依各地域不同的用車習性而分為歐日規、美規版本，而圖片中搶先發佈定裝照的則為美規車款，也是未來臺灣本田擬引進本地銷售的版本。美規七代Accord在外型上相當簡潔，鷹眼式頭燈搭配圓滑的車身曲線，勾勒出Accord自五代車款以來的年輕氣息；另外，車尾造型雖然仍掩不住因C柱線條所造就的動感風格，但經由紅白配色的長條型尾燈組卻也讓Accord的整體車尾相當穩重耐看。在Coupe車款的部份，車頭造型與四門車型僅有保桿進氣口的差異，隨著更為低斜的A柱延伸向後，半圓弧形的車頂線條與迥異的三角造型尾燈，創造出優雅的跑車風格。
內裝方面，光由照片中便可發現其質感與造型已有相當程度的精進，在米色／褐色建構的Two-Tone內裝中，搭配霧黑塑料中控面板與下方質、量均得宜的木紋飾板，整體呈現出舒適而不雜亂的氛圍；另外，舉凡自發光儀表、恆溫空調、方向盤定速／音響控制介面，皆出現在配備清單內。動力系統美規Accord初期將推出可發揮160hp的2.4升四缸引擎，3.0升V6則預計在上市不久後推出。
