    HONDA第七代Accord首次將簾式SRS列入安全配備清單

自1971年起,日本HONDA便開始研發當遇到緊急事故時,如何將乘客傷害程度減至最低的安全氣囊技術;日本HONDA於1987年領先當地國產車廠,首次將駕駛座SRS列入旗下車型的安全配備清單中,又於1990年同樣首次將助手席SRS納入旗下車型的選購安全配備,由此可見HONDA對於防護車內乘客安全的重視。

即將準備在2002年9月於北美地區上市的第七代Accord,除了將配備日前所報導的語音式導航系統,在安全防護方面,HONDA為了提升其水準,首次將雙側邊簾式SRS列入第七代Accord的安全標準配備中,也是HONDA旗下配備雙側邊簾式SRS的第一個車款。

台灣2000c.c級中型房車市場中,似乎當有新車上市時,都會帶來一波配備戰,繼TOYOTA Camry配備HID頭燈、NISSAN Cefiro配備TOBE資訊平台等科技配備爭奪戰之後,下一波2000c.c級距中型房車爭奪戰會轉向安全配備嗎?以目前國產中型房車的安全配備中,雙前座SRS+前座側邊雙SRS幾乎是各家78萬級以上車型的標準配備,唯獨FORD Metrostar頂級車款多配備了雙側邊簾式SRS;未來國內哪一款中型房車率先掀起安全配備爭奪戰呢?是準備在8月23日發表的MAZDA 6(以目前得知的接單價,預估86萬5的頂級車型會配備雙側邊簾式SRS),還是最快明年由台灣本田所引進的第七代美規版Accord呢?請鎖定日後我們的報導,便能知道未來該波配備戰的藏鏡人是誰囉!
