    東風本田汽車啟動 HONDA CR-V首度投放中國

在HONDA與東風汽車的合作案確定後,「東風本田汽車」正式成立,成為HONDA就廣州本田之外,於中國大陸的第二個生產基地;東風本田汽車並將首度投放在中國正式量產的CR-V休旅車,填補廣本在轎車之外的生產線。

2003年7月,HONDA和湖北東風汽車合作了「東風本田汽車武漢有限公司」,是HONDA在中國的第二個生產基地;開始生產整車的合作新事業,起步產品是擬定生產SUV類的“CR-V”運動休旅車,目前已經準備批量生產,但上市時間還未確定;原因是東風本田還沒決定是由廣州本田銷售服務站還是透過東風雪鐵龍的經銷點來銷售CR-V。

不過,由於目前廣本經銷的車型中,緊湊型轎車已有飛度Fit,中高檔轎車有雅閣Accord,商務車有奧德賽Odysee,如果能加上SUV車型的CR-V,將形成一個完整的汽車商品體系,但是廣州本田與東風本田之間的合作關係並不緊密!兩者雖然都事生產本田產品,卻並非同宗親兄弟,因此東風本田要借用廣州本田的經銷體系還需透過一段交涉;因此,東風本田現在也考慮自行建立新的經銷通路,而不借用廣本或是雪鐵龍的體系。

然而,在中國大陸建立一座汽車經銷商,單一據點代理商的資金投入至少在1000萬元人民幣以上,規劃、審批、基建所需要的時間也要3個月以上,所以存在著種種困難,但剛剛卸任的廣州本田總經理門脅轟二卻強烈建議東風本田自行建立銷售服務店;門脅轟二卸任前曾表示:「據我了解,中國目前的新汽車產業政策草案中,有一條就是:國外和國內生產廠商要建立自己的品牌銷售及服務渠道」。因此他認為自有銷售通路才是長遠之道。

因為中國大陸特殊的汽車產業政策,目前東風本田的CR-V的上市雖然遇到困難,不過,CR-V正式於中國量產已是不爭的事實,而未來東風本田也將持續引進HONDA其他休旅產品到中國,成為和廣州本田形成互補的角色定位,而現在對中國汽車現況有興趣的車迷也要弄清楚,CR-V是在武漢的東風本田生產;而Accord、Fit和Odysee則是由廣州的本田出品。
