HONDA新世紀休旅指標－Elysion即將於日本誕生

於2003年東京車展中，向來以運動車著名的HONDA為實現全新溫柔家庭用車與跑者風格融合的理念，展出了一款全尺碼休旅原型車－ASM，當時ASM極接近量產車的各項規格，外界皆認為ASM將於短時內正式量產，並預料為下一代美規Odyssey之設計雛形，事隔半年ASM正式量產版本將預計於五月13日以Elysion之名於日本上市。
正式量產的Elysion依現行HONDA原廠網站所公佈的局部照片來看，除了前後複眼式LED頭尾燈與輪圈樣式外，外觀可說與原型的ASM完全相同，內裝陳設也幾乎沿襲ASM之設計，長：4,840mm/寬：1,830mm/高：1,790mm的車身尺碼配合室內低底盤設計提供八人舒適的乘坐空間，並將配有有共計達十具的防護氣囊（包含可保護三列乘客之側邊防護氣囊）、「CMS」防碰撞制動系統、IHCC車距自動偵測系統等先進之安全配備，提供全車乘客最完備的安全防護。
引擎動力方面將搭載與Streem相同之2.4升四缸i-VTEC引擎與全新3.0升六缸i-VTEC引擎，搭配五前速自排變速箱，實際數據同樣尚未公佈，但以HONDA家族一向優異的各項性能表現與頗具跑格的設計理念，將搭載HONDA著名的四輪獨立雙A臂懸吊系統的Elysion，動態表現肯定在水準之上。
即將上市的Elysion為HONDA新世紀全新設計的產品，將為HONDA未來之休旅車研發注入全新的DNA，也為還為上市的美規Odyssey帶來許多的想像。
