於2003年九月上市的現行HONDA Life，HONDA最強的都會迷你車戰力，此代車款需多設計上的巧思更是讓人印象深刻，例如類似喇叭鎖的圓形車門開啟握柄，闡述了Life是以「私人小套房」為出發點的全新小型車，今年春天Life也曾經過精裝升級的動作，事隔半年，上週末HONDA再推出新年份車款，大致上與今年小幅升級的車款相同。
如文前所言，新年份的Life並未有大幅度的改變，首先是將輪圈尺碼升級至14英吋，而各等級的配備清單重新調整，搭載0.66升新世代I-DSI引擎，有NA與Turbo兩種版本，分別可輸出52hp及64hp最大馬力，原本就已擁有極佳燃油效率的I-DSI，在新年份車款上再向上精進，自然近氣版本每公升燃油效率由19.8km/l提升至20km/l，而渦輪增壓版本則由原本的18.6km/l提升至18.8km/l，提前符合日本2010年全新油耗標準。
