如果您還把HONDA看成是純粹的日本汽車品牌，這樣的角度可能要稍微調整一下，根據最新消息指出，位於美國阿拉巴馬州的HMA本田北美廠（Honda Manufacturing of Alabama），日前慶祝生產第50萬輛新車下線的慶祝儀式！
本田阿拉巴碼廠生產的第50萬輛HONDA車款，是一輛車身為銀色塗裝的全新2005年式HONDA Odyssey EX-L，這輛休旅車款搭配了頂級的真皮內裝、DVD後座車用影音系統，根據北美本田表示，這家總投資額12億美元的廠房，自從2001年11月竣工之後，僅花了39個月的時間就達成單一廠房生產50萬輛達成的目標。
自從阿拉巴馬本田整車廠竣工之後，至今已經生產共464,403輛 Odyssey，與35,597輛 Pilot休旅車款，並且擁有4,300名 員工，佔地更達到320萬平方英尺，已經成為本田在北美相當重要的生產據點，每天可以生產1100輛新車，目前的年產能為30萬輛新車與引擎。
