動力全開！HONDA Prelude捲土重來計畫始動？

於1996年問世的第五代Prelude，在雙門市場逐漸式微的情況下，與Integra做整合，從此消失在HONDA產品計畫中，但這款風靡一世的雙門跑車，卻極有可能在近年內復活。
以VTEC聞名的HONDA，旗下Prelude原本被設定為介於Accord和Civic間的車款，但是當80年代推出Integra後，再加上休旅RV車款逐漸抬頭，縱使一開始就將電動天窗列為標準配備，卻也讓Prelude朝銷售困境前進。
所以當第五代推出而碰到困境時，原廠決定將Prelude與Integra整合，開發出全新車型，有鑑於Integra在北美市場知名度高，所以當新車型問世時仍以Integra為名，Prelude從此進入歷史。
不過最近卻盛傳HONDA有意讓Prelude復活，最主要原因是雙門車市場似乎能吸引40-50歲左右的消費者，而且休旅車太過氾濫以讓顧客吃不消，據了解新一代Prelude將可能採用全新設計底盤，車體將較第五代的4520×1750×1315mm來得大些，至於詳情還必須持續追蹤。
