想要在歐洲人最厲害的掀背市場中佔有一席之地，這次本田技研可是使出渾身解數，不但專為歐規車款打造一個聽說祖母不愛的造型之外，更針對空間機能導入了私房菜…老話一句，買不到就是買不到！
因應華人市場特性，台灣本田導入的依舊是以太平洋與大中華地區為主的房車款式，不過在歐洲為了一炮而紅，本田除了讓歐規八代車系長得極盡前衛之外，在空間機能方面絕不馬虎，堪稱是歐規掀背車中空間機能的No.1喔！
除了車身尺碼比在地的對手要大一點之外，在車室空間方面原廠也打包票說是同級車中最大，而且更導入由Fit車系開始採用的座椅變換機制，並且加以改良，以發揮更大的效能！
首先椅背分離折疊，絕對是同級車中的基本功，也沒有什麼好大驚小怪的，不過接下來就好玩了，在椅背向前傾覆之後，椅墊會自動向下沈潛，讓椅背與行李廂形成一個相當平整的空間，不過這也沒什麼，因為HYUNDAI Tucson跟KIA Sportage也有，更厲害的是Civic掀背車的後座椅墊可以「站起來」，跟椅背平行靠攏，到底有多好用，看看圖示就知道啦！
沒辦法，華人總愛豪華精緻，對於這種空間機能可是一點都不覺得重要，所以囉…筆者老話一句，這種可是動用許多先進工業設計概念的座椅變換機制，還是留給既務實又講究空間效率的歐洲人去用囉….
