    HONDA新Civic日本試駕(2)-大膽變身車格提升

首次看到照片,總覺得新Civic很像是Integra的四門版,直到面對面的第一次接觸,才發現它簡直就是放大的Integra四門型態,而且還越看越有味道。

要說新Civic是大變身其實不為過,因為100﹪全新設計的Civic,在創新概念為前提下,似乎有向上提升的趨勢,並朝現行款Accord逼近,若與同級車相較,1750mm的寬度光氣勢就非常嚇人;而4540mm的長度和1440mm的高度,早就將國民車的設計理念拋諸腦後,說時代在改變、消費者越來越挑嘴實不為過。

低斜的A柱與低扁車頭,配上不規則狀頭燈組,與類似空力套件處理的前保險桿設計,讓全車充滿性能風格,而引用HONDA新一代美學概念,前高後低的身影,其實仍看得出和第七代之間的關係,這也延續Civic的家族特色-年輕不失大方、先進帶點個性味。而後視鏡轉向燈的配置,也符合安全和車壇流行潮流。

根據HONDA原廠的說法,當初設計新Civic時,是以長方形體為基礎,然後作切割,旋即變成目前的造型,聽起來就如同作勞作般簡單,實際上卻耗費設計部門非常大的時間,當然最主要還是為了保持跑格,卻又不失升級的產品定位。

隨著座艙前移的技術,造就A、C兩柱非常低斜,與極度寬敞的車室空間。水箱護罩的面積不小,其中的飛翼式水箱護罩更是HONDA旗下車款的一大特色;車尾燈組的四圓LED,和類鴨尾式行李廂蓋造型,有點回到Integra的風格,難怪我看到實車時,直覺上認為這就是Integra四門版,而HONDA原廠工程師也深表同感。

此外,座艙前移的結果,讓前輪朝前保險桿邊緣伸展,再加上17吋輪圈的輔助,新Civic果真具備中型房車的格具;車尾的雙排氣尾管,則將強調性能的一切訴說清楚。
