兩年一度的台北世界新車大展於2005年12月23日盛大揭幕。甫於今年七月成軍之裕隆通用汽車首度參加此次車展盛會，特重金禮聘國內知名服裝造型師康延齡，獨挑大樑擔任服裝造型及車展秀導，為旗下品牌CADILLAC /BUICK /OPEL設計出符合其品牌特性-尊貴、大器、奢華之車展秀。
作品一向深具視覺震撼，且劇場效果十足的國內首席設計師康延齡，為了此次裕隆通用汽車於台北車展的首次出擊，特別設計了兩種類型的車展秀及華服；其中華麗秀的服裝更有寬幅達3米，後身裙襬長達10米之大膽設計。整各華麗秀結合了服裝設計師的創意及巧思，將整場秀帶向另一個奢華的境界，讓消費者在賞車之餘可以欣賞到宛如舞臺劇般的華麗演出。
裕隆通用汽車於首次出擊的台北世界新車大展上，祭出了旗下三大品牌CADILLAC/BUICK/OPEL之優越車款；其中CADILLAC以兼具豪華與性能的頂級防跑車STS-V作為頭陣，它不僅擁有犀利的外觀，更配有堪稱當今最成熟的高階V8引擎，完美展現CADILLAC近乎一世紀傳承演進的精髓。STS-V從靜止加速到96公里不到5秒，連AMG、M Power甚至保時捷都得敬畏三分，她是Cadillac有史以來火力最為強大的車款！!此外，CADILLAC更創下業界史無前例的24小時「行動隨扈」與「行動秘書」服務提案，這樣體貼車主的頂級尊榮服務，不但是領先同級競爭對手，更為高級車服務領域立下新指標；BUICK則鉅獻專程空運來台參展之豪華概念車款_Velite(命名源自法國拿破崙時代精銳部隊的名稱)，其外型設計已跳脫汽車造型的簡單空間概念，以一種獨特的三維視覺效果，不管以何種角度欣賞，Velite都如鑽石般炫目奪人。Velite的誕生意味著全新Buick DNA的萌起，它更是Buick最新最前衛的設計代表作；OPEL挟著其於動力科技傲人之成就，及對車工藝的細膩講究，完美呈現Astra GTC (OPC)，均衡優勢之理念於OPC身上獲得了淋漓盡致的發揮。極致車工藝表現之品牌OPEL，旗下車系總是能夠回應車迷滿腔熱情，給予深刻的駕馭感受。堅持完美結合工業科技與工藝雕琢之造車哲學，使得OPEL得以於車藝時尚領域大放異彩，完美詮釋了新世紀奢華璀璨風格之卓然品味。
