倫敦警察向HONDA訂117輛Civic Hybrid！

看來HONDA在英國努力推行Civic Hybrid似乎有點小成效，最近英國倫敦警察訂購了117輛HONDA Civic Hybrid，將會支援英國倫敦警察們作為巡邏警車。
英國警察近來對較環保車輛顯得很有興趣，會選擇HONDA Civic Hybrid是因為操作容易，並且還有環保計劃─零二氧化碳保證，倫敦警察負責交通運輸主管Stuart Middleton表示，警察們除了要維持社會治安外，也嘗試讓警車儘可能環保。
並且除了環保之外，還能夠省油，同時也省下納稅人的錢，目前購買Hybrid是倫敦警察的中程目標，而遠程目標則是以氫氣燃料電池為目標，Hybrid一般車子的操作習慣相同，並且還能夠減少廢氣排放。
反觀我們所處的台灣地區，警察用車除了高速公路局的雙B車款以外，其於皆是在保護國產汽車工業的前提下，選擇了國產車款，不過可惜的是，目前替代能源車款的效應尚未於台灣車市中發酵完全，台灣也並未擁有道地國產的替代能源車款，因此政府想要兼顧保護台灣汽車產業與環保兩議題，似乎就算有心，也使不上力呀...
