記得之前AutoNet曾報導過，美國使用HONDA FCX燃料電池車Spallino家庭滿週年的消息嗎？最近HONDA又有這輛零污染車的新消息囉！
HONDA FCX研發團隊又精進這輛車的氫氣燃料續航力，從2002年開始推出後，從原本的大約257公里，到後來305公里，而最近HONDA研發技術讓FCX的續航力達到將近338公里，這樣的續航力可是在坐四個人的情況下；新一代的FCX改善燃料補給的過程，讓氫氣燃料的儲存量更多，所以續航力也更驚人；最大馬力有107hp，最高扭力為27.7kgm。
之前美國使用HONDA FCX燃料電池車Spallino家庭滿週年事件，對HONDA而言擁有重大的意義，Spallino一佳人累積的經驗，提供HONDA在未來對燃料電池研發；HONDA FCX除了續航力驚人外，能夠適應各種溫度而平穩運轉，更是FCX的一大賣點。
HONDA之前就已經量產一些FCX，分別美國及日本提供租借的服務，讓消費者自己來嘗試燃料電池駕駛感受，當然也有像Spallino家庭直接買來自己使用，不過想要買FCX居住環境需要配備有加氣站，就像Spallino一家人住在加州，他們有著阿諾州長的承諾─2005年四月誓言要在2010年以前打造一條「氫氣燃料公路」；不過這都是目前台灣所沒有的，台灣民眾繼續望塵興嘆吧！
