HONDA CR-V大改款，北美消費者打擊設計師信心！

日本HONDA車廠設計師Shoji Fujimaki所主導的CR-V大改款，在北美所做的消費者問卷調查後，震驚了Shoji Fujimaki。這位任職於HONDA汽車公司達十七年之久的設計師表示：「許多北美的消費者認為這款車感覺上軟趴趴，造型也很無聊。這樣的結果讓我十分沮喪，因為我第一次感覺到原來有些消費者是以車子的各項裝置來決定好惡。在日本，HONDA被認為是車界的獨行俠，我們最重視的一件事情就是讓消費者認為它漂亮！」。

HONDA車廠的CR-V是一款具有初級越野能力的車款，而這款車目前是車廠在國外市場賣得最多的一款車。為了擴充北美市場，Honda汽車公司在美國的俄亥俄州設立了一個汽車製造廠。新款的CR-V改變了方正的造型，改採較為流線的線條。車身結構較以往車款低了1.25英吋，傳動系統的位置也稍微降低。內裝的部份還是延續的SUV感覺的樣式，不過乘坐的空間改成轎式設計，許多材質都顯現柔軟的個性。高科技的配備像是導航系統、倒車攝影機，已經成為標準配備。搭載166hp馬力，五速自排。另外HONDA車廠新的車身結構設計，讓這款新車擁有像輕型卡車般的強度，卻有轎車的安全性。

車廠品牌經理表示：「以往購買CR-V車款的消費者，多半喜歡這車的大小、功能、以及性能的實用性。我們現在不但要保有現有客戶，更要改善造型以爭取新的客戶群。」，市場上競爭品牌甚多，在輕型的SUV市場幾乎是戰國時代。TOYOTA RAV4、JEEP Compass、FORD汽車Escape、HYUNDAI汽車Santa Fe、雪佛蘭Equinox等等車款充斥。然而HONDA車廠認為CR-V擁有傲人的低油耗量，在油價高漲的時代可以擊敗對手。

新款的CR-V將於九月二十八日在北美地區上市，定價為兩萬一千元到兩萬六千元美金。
