市場對於Civic車款的需求量大增，北美HONDA車廠將這款搭載4汽缸、噴射供油系統的省油車款，加強產能以供北美地區的銷售量。
明年2月份HONDA將Alliston廠設定為Civic主力廠房，全速生產Civic車款。預估產量將高達每年30萬輛，同時該廠也將另闢旗艦休旅車Odyssey，以及Minivan車款的生產線。這個工廠生產線的調整後將可提供HONDA每年生產將近6萬輛Civic車款。
新的工廠生產線所採用的設計，使用大量的機器人。不但增加生產的精確度，也可已經由軟體的設定，轉改生產其他車種。HONDA北美車廠的副總裁表示；目前的設計不但可以提供消費者，最佳品質的汽車商品。對於經銷商來說，將來的交貨會更有效率。市場上對HONDA的省油性能讚賞的程度，直接可以從源源不斷的訂單看出端倪。
