CHEVROLET Malibu
|
美國IIHS在日前公佈的最新撞擊測試結果中，提出了所有2007年式新車都必須配備ESC電子穩定系統的新要求。

FORD Five Hundred
|
研究顯示ESC可減少相當的致命風險，協助駕駛人在緊急狀況下控制住車子。IIHS局長Adrian Lund表示「提高獎勵標準是為鼓勵車輛安全更加進步。」「去年車廠能在不考慮ESC的情況下拿到可接受的評價，現在這可更難了。」
例如，2006年度在中型家庭房車中獲得高評價的CHEVROLET Malibu未配備ESC且其頭部傷害評等並未達到〝Good〞而被排除在2007年度得獎名單外。同樣的，大型家庭房車中獲得高評價的FORD Five Hundred和MERCURY Montego也都未配備ESC(甚至無法選配)。
小型房車則更慘，2007年沒有車得獎。去年得獎的四門HONDA Civic在2007年式的多數車型未配備ESC，後方撞擊時的頭部傷害評等也未達到〝Good〞，遭除名。
