從二輪起家的HONDA，如今成為橫跨陸海空領域的國際級品牌，產品涵蓋汽機車、船舶、飛機，甚至還發展出全世界最新進的機器人ASIMO。
搭載房車最強SH-AWD主動循跡四輪驅動系統的Legend，可是HONDA的旗艦車款，採用電磁差速器的四輪驅動結構，不但能將前輪與後輪的驅動比例從30：70至70：30之間分配，還能把後輪輸出的動力在左後輪與右後輪之間做100：0至0：100的無段調整，其結構算是非常精密。但這又和ASIMO又有什麼關係？
其實ASIMO算是機器人工程學的一大創舉，不僅成功地達到兩足行進的模式，也克服類人形的作動方式，且無須以遙控就能行走，當然除了程式設計師本身功力高強、原廠工程學為後盾外，最主要是ASIMO全身上下共有20個以上的驅動馬達，因此才能踏出第一步，讓HONDA列為全球科技之首。正因為ASIMO的精密度非常高，宛如旗艦Legend，所以兩者便被劃上等號。
反正無論Legend還是ASIOM，都算HONDA的科技表徵，因此說兩種不同產品可劃上等號，可一點也不稀奇。
