這幾年每個月獲得台灣汽車市場銷售掛牌數時，第一名永遠是TOYOTA Corolla Altis，然而在三月份卻冒出實力雄厚的黑馬，那就是HONDA第三代CR-V，以11台的差距拿下國產車冠軍，這是否意味TOYOTA的神主牌不保？

挾著超人氣口碑與貼切消費者用車習慣的CR-V，打從進口時的第一代、接著導入國產化一直到第二代，在SUV市場都獲得消費者青睞，而當第三代車型一問世，縱使價格調整幅度不大，且總代理堅持價格透明化策略，卻以更趨近房車的豪華科技內裝配備，與更個性化的外觀造型和順暢的動力，讓CR-V的銷售成績亮麗，在三月份總計銷售1656輛，比起國產車冠軍TOYOTA Corolla Altis的1645輛，險勝11輛，這也是罕見SUV贏過傳統房車的紀錄。

其實以產品力來看，TOYOTA Corolla Altis對顧客而言是經濟實惠與口碑型態的產品，尤其新一代車型即將導入，再加上經銷商面臨壓力，所釋出的條件必定比新車多，因此才能居冠軍寶座榜首多時。不過就整體市場來觀察，打從去年卡債問題爆發影響金融，企業與消費群出走西進，再加上車廠為了銷售大打新古車或削價求售，都是導致市場委靡不振的原因，以現在的狀況來看，單一車款單月能有個千輛，就算是熱銷產品了。更何況是超過1500輛且年事已高的TOYOTA Corolla Altis。

如果和年輕小伙子CR-V相比，品牌形象支撐的Corolla Altis確實較有贏面，只不過這回被CR-V從寶座上踹下去倒令人意外。
