國內汽車市場4月份的表現，持續出現衰退的走勢，僅掛出了25,338台，較之去年同期，又出現了11%的跌幅，顯現台灣的車市仍未走出寒冬。在車市一片跌落聲中，HONDA Taiwan在一月底全新推出的新一代CR-V，上市短短3個月已經累積了7,700輛的訂單，創下近年來少見的新車上市效應。也因為CR-V的熱賣，讓HONDA在4月份交出了亮麗的銷售成績，使HONDA比去年同期出現了23%的成長，成為市場上與去年同期比唯一成長的品牌。HONDA在4月份更以全車系2,349輛的掛牌數站穩市場排名第四與國產乘用車市場第三的成績，而1至4月市場累計排名更已直逼第4，市場排名前五大的位置已然穩固。
雖然CR-V的累計訂單約7,700輛，但是受限於產能限制的因素，在4月份僅交出了1,584輛的成績，但SUV市場區隔的佔有率已高達42.3%，即使這樣還是有近3,000張的訂單無法消化，致使等待交車時間需要2個月。這種表現不僅是SUV市場其他競爭車種所望塵莫及，更再次以SUV車款贏過向來由TOYOTA房車Altis所長期佔有的單一車種銷售冠軍位置，連續第二個月位居單一車種銷售冠軍。足見CR-V在消費者心目中的地位，不僅是SUV的唯一首選，冠軍地位不容撼動，更同時也吸引了原本許多非SUV車主換購CR-V的熱潮，在汽車市場一片低迷聲中，創造難得一見的盛況。
