HONDA美國不再推出Accord Hybrid，Accord柴油入列？！

根據AutoNet最新消息指出，全新Accord將不會在北美市場推出Hybrid車型，不過為了更省油HONDA打算在北美市場推出柴油版Accord。
想在美國市場推出柴油車款，可是要符合相當嚴格的排廢法規Tier II Bin 5，所以HONDA也決定追隨M-BENZ和VW集團的腳步，進軍美國潔淨柴油市場；HONDA決定捨Hybrid就柴油的主因，雖然Civic Hybrid在美國獲得不少消費者青睞，但是更大級距的Accord Hybrid在美國銷售卻不好。
再加上德國兩大車廠M-BENZ和AUDI已經決心在美國推出擁有Bluetec科技的柴油車款，更讓HONDA覺得潔淨柴油是個可以市場化的趨勢，所以Accord在美國將會有柴油版本，預計在2009年推出。
預計未來搭載於Accord的柴油引擎為2.2升或2.4升四缸引擎，能夠通過加州Tier II Bin 5排放標準，扭力和油耗表現都和V6 Hybrid動力引擎相當，此外，HONDA明年將推出燃料電池FCX Concept房車，繼續發展更環保的能源動力。
