MUGEN RR加持，HONDA Civic Type R戰鬥市售版開賣

到底是什麼樣的Civic能在日本筑波賽道上寫下1分6秒68成績、並同時兼具道路和賽道駕駛樂趣？那就是在HONDA御用改裝廠無限GEN（M-TEC）調下所誕生的「Civic MUGEN RR」。
以Civic Type R為基礎所開發的「Civic MUGEN RR」，是無限藉由F1和SuperGT賽事的經驗和科技，針對外觀空力套件、內裝駕駛相關組件、動力提升和底盤懸吊系統進行全面化改良，並從九月13日起在日本開始販售，由於僅限量300部，所以日幣47775000圓（約合新台幣170萬元）的售價對車迷來說可是物超所值，因此在發表會當天就接到超過50張的訂單，由此可見「Civic MUGEN RR」的魅力有多大。
當初為了達到「筑波FF最速」的目標，是以引擎動力、運動性和空力為開發主軸，所以MUGEN的工程師在輕量化和功率提升下了非常多功夫，從氣門、活塞、連桿等結構達到最佳化，因此馬力輸出比 Type R增加15hp達240hp水準，且輪胎則採用和BRIDGESTONE共同開發的RE070 RR Spec.，搭配輕量化高剛性鍛造鋁合金輪圈與具有五階段阻尼調整的專用避震器，「Civic MUGEN RR」在高速過彎甚至激烈操駕可是非常靈活。而誇張但輕量化減輕15公斤的空力套件和左右雙出排氣尾管，更得以展現與Type R的差異。
內裝鋪陳與設計方面，「Civic MUGEN RR」依舊維持Type R路線，和RECARO共同開發的專用桶型賽車椅，可進行Normal（一般道路）和Low（賽道）兩種調整選擇，且六速手排變速箱也改為行程更短的快排設定，讓高功率引擎能發揮最大效能，並讓駕駛人獲得最高樂趣。
目前僅提供一種紅色、限量300部的「Civic MUGEN RR」，可是在日本神奈川某工廠裡靠著雙手慢慢秘密打造，但對性能車迷來說，管它在哪打造，只要是夠嗆夠辣的「Civic MUGEN RR」就是王道！
