HONDA新世代Fit/Jazz車系將於今年日本東京車展現身，圖為本世代車型。

一如先前所報導般，從2002年問世至今，HONDA Fit/Jazz車型於全球已銷售達到了二百萬的里程碑，清楚顯示了此HONDA B級距小車的受歡迎程度，而當大家還佩服著Fit/Jazz車系能於短時間達到此成績之餘，HONDA原廠更早已著手研發新世代Fit/Jazz的工程，且根據AutoNet所掌握的消息指出，新世代Fit/Jazz豋場的時間，就將在今年10月的東京車展時！
日本當地市場稱作Fit的掀背小車，於海外市場稱作Jazz，但無論車名為何，受歡迎的程度可不分軒輊，雖然對手越趨眾多，但絲毫不影響Fit/Jazz車系的歡迎程度；不過如此受歡迎的車款，最大的敵人通常也就是自身，因此針對下世代新車型的研發工作HONDA原廠可是一點都不敢怠慢，而經過多時的研發後，大抵決定要於今年日本車壇的重頭戲—東京車展現出豋場處女秀。
此外，HONDA執行長Takeo Fukui更表示延續目前HONDA所鑽研的環保努力，將陸續推出柴油與Hybrid動力，新世代的Accord將搭載全新的柴油動力進軍美國市場，而Civic Hybrid也將會針對油電混合科技加以精進，且售價更將往下探，較目前22,600美金的售價更為低廉；不過由於Fit/Jazz車型已相當嬌小，油耗經濟性已十分優異，因此Fit/Jazz推出柴油或Hybrid車款的可能性則相當低。
