根據最新消息指出，剛剛在中國大陸投產並且上市銷售不久的東風本田CR-V新一代車系，為了要提供消費者更多元化的選擇，根據最新消息指出，將在不久之後追加搭配手排變速系統的入門汽油2.0升車型。
目前中國大陸東風本田投產的新一代CR-V車系，建議售價介於21.78-25.28萬人民幣，由於中國大陸當地平價化自有品牌SUV銷售量增加甚速，為了提升CR-V的產品陣容，以吸引更多的預算型消費者，東風本田決定將在今年稍晚推出2.0升入門車型，若將配備簡化的因素考慮進去，這款入門CR-V的上市建議售價可望跌破20萬人民幣的門檻。
