即將在10月18日於日本正式發表的全新一代Fit，雖然全球媒體紛紛秀出預想圖，但終究是電腦做出來的合成，而非量產車照片，不過AutoNet卻獨家取得新Fit的外觀圖，說真的，比起現行款更有味道，量產化後肯定全球大賣！
第二代Fit的車身尺碼為3900×1695×1525mm，比起現行款的3845×1675×1525mm明顯長大不少，軸距更從2450mm增加到2500mm，且在車艙前移的設計概念下，創造出前所未有的寬敞車室空間，直逼2.0升房車表現；而內部鋪陳則與Civic有類似風格，三獨立圓形儀表、跑車化三輻式方向盤、玻璃車頂、圓形空調出風口、圓形恆溫顯示幕等，再加上黑色與米色兩種色調選擇，提供新Fit暨個性化又具高雅感。
再者導入不少Minivan的便利機能性，全車內部共具備十個飲料架，不過為了爭取更多收納空間，取消了傳統備胎，而是以活動式置物盒取代，此外現行後座椅的三步驟前翻折動作，如今也簡化成一個，讓車主備感方便。
動力方面，原廠提供直四1.3升與1.5升兩具全新開發SOHC i-DSI引擎，1.5升為最大輸出馬力為120hp/6300rpm，扭力則是14.9kgm/4800rpm，1.3升的輸出功率比起現行款的86hp/5700rpm、12.1kgm/2800rpm更大，達100hp/6000rpm、13.1kgm/4500rpm，在強調高經濟效率的CVT幫助下，1.3升平均油耗達每公升24公里，而1.5升表現也不凡，以平均每公升20公里讓消費者荷包更省。且1.5升因重視樂趣，遂配置方向盤升降檔鍵，當然也可選擇五速手排變速系統。
至於車型等級上，新Fit共計標準型G、L兩種，與運動型的G，至於台灣導入國產化時間，最快為2008年第三到第四季左右，排氣量應該會是1.5升。看來MITSUBISHI Colt Plus、TOYOTA Yaris甚至是MAZDA 2、FORD Feista，與同級進口小車可都要小心了，因為新Fit絕對來勢洶洶！
