更安全的公民，HONDA日規Civic 2008年式車型發賣！

眾所皆知，定位為新世代世界戰略車款的HONDA第八代Civic，自2005年9月於日本正式發表以來，就以偏向個性跑房車的時尚設計，贏得歐美等地汽車市場一致好評，在日本每個月也有穩定的銷量。而今為了提升產品戰力，HONDA決定調整現有日規八代Civic車系產品陣容，並增添些許配備，推出HONDA日規第八代Civic 2008年年式變更車型，以達到更好的銷量。
動力配置上，此次日規第八代Civic 2008年年式變更車型依然維持直四i-VTEC 1.8升與2.0升汽油動力配置，各可發出140hp/6300rpm的最大馬力與17.7kgm/4300rpm峰直扭力，以及155hp/6000rpm的最大馬力與19.2kgm/4500rpm峰直扭力。至於內裝方面也沒啥變動，但是卻因產品策略的關係，HONDA不僅將日規將車型產品整合成兩款1.8升車型與一款2.0升車型產品，更將VSA動態穩定系統與HID頭燈列為標準配備！而採用一具1.3升三階段i-VTEC引擎，與IMA電動馬達轉換系統的Civic Hybrid，同樣地也將VSA動態穩定系統與HID頭燈列為標準配備，顯見HONDA追求Civic更安全行車品質的心意。
至於台灣這方，HONDA Taiwan則表示，雖然目前他們尚未打算跟進HONDA原廠的腳步，進行台規第八代Civic的產品調整動作，不過在下個月將會有著優惠促銷活動，而會有此動作，預測應與MITSUBISHI Lancer Fortis的問世有所關聯，一有最新消息，AutoNet必定火速奉上。
