    美規HONDA Fit繼續採用傳統自排,CVT依舊檢討中

為了做出區隔,並符合消費者用車習慣的差異,HONDA在規劃第一代Fit時就將CVT變速系統留在日本,北美市場則提供傳統自排,如今隨著第二代車型的問世,這項作法似乎沒有改變,主要是CVT專用金屬帶產能有限。

基於需求,第一代Fit順利進軍北美市場,並搭載五速自排變速系統,反倒是強調經濟性的CVT依舊適用於右駕規格,一方面是美國駕駛人對CVT的接受度不高,二來是供應變速箱的JATCO對於專用金屬帶產能問題,所以當第二代Fit在日本發表後,美規版與左駕規格也在2008年陸續登場,但根據AutoNet所獲得的訊息,目前所有左駕規格都配置五速自排,CVT則HONDA正在評估中。

放眼目前美國市場,小排氣量車款採用CVT變速系統的,除了NISSAN Versa與SCION xA、TOYOTA Prius外,其他車款幾乎沒有使用這種經濟型系統,而HONDA Fit在日本雖然配置CVT,但在北美將由五速自排來取代,主要原因是JATCO位於墨西哥工廠所生產的CVT變速箱,已經先行供應給NISSAN Versa使用,如今隨著越來越多日本車採用這種變速系統,新Fit恐怕還要排隊等待;另外美國民眾對於CVT相當陌生,倘若新Fit配置CVT,能否獲得青睞還屬未知數,所以HONDA原廠仍針對採用CVT與否進行檢討。

不過因國際原油價格每桶朝美金100元邁進,節能省油已是消費者最關切的重點,但駕駛方式與傳統自排有不小差異的CVT能否順利讓民眾接受,就有待車廠的努力了。至於2008年導入國產化的Fit到底採用哪種變速系統,現階段尚未明朗,但猜測應該會是CVT吧!
