即將在廣州本田投產的下一代HONDA Fit飛度新車。

根據最新外電消息指出，HONDA原廠宣布將投資約三百億日圓的資金（約合新台幣86.5億元）的金額，以合資的廣州本田名義在廣州市新建引擎廠，預計將增加約四成的引擎年產量，預估新引擎廠2009年竣工啟用後，每年可以生產約20萬具引擎。
廣州本田表示，新增的引擎廠在2009年投入生產行列後，主要將投產專供廣州本田飛度（HONDA Fit）、新雅閣（HONDA Accord）與奧德賽（HONDA Odyssey）使用的1.3升與2.0升汽油直四可變氣門引擎，這一計畫將有助於提升HONDA在中國的整車產能，期望在中國大陸當地的新車年產量可達70萬輛的目標。
