J.D.Power馬來西亞新車初期品質大調查，HONDA Civic連續兩年勝出

向來以保護國產品牌著稱的馬來西亞，隨著當地政府逐漸進行開放與全球化效應，雖然市場仍以PROTON、PERODUA兩大品牌居多，但外來品牌可是擁有不錯的知名度，就連HONDA更以Civic連續獲得當地新車品質的寶座。
根據公信力越來越高的美國J.D.Power，針對馬來西亞14個品牌52款新車購買所做調查發現，在五個汽車等級中當地消費者購買新車後的2-6個月內品質，HONDA以City和Civic囊括入門中型房車與中型房車兩個級距的冠軍，且Civic更是連續兩年以高分勝出，由此可見HONDA在當地民眾心目中的地位。
2007馬來西亞汽車初期品質調查各級距前三名
小型車：PERODUA Myvi、PERODUA Kelisa、PROTON Savvy
入門中型房車：HONDA City、TOYOTA Vios、PROTON Wara
中型房車：HONDA Civic、NISSAN Sentra、PROTON Waja
MPV/Van：TOYOTA Innova、Naza Sutera、TOYOTA Avanza
Pick up：FORD Ranger、TOYOTA Hilux、NISSAN Frontier
當然PROTON與PERODUA因佔有率高，要拿下諸多高分可是非常簡單。
