    再等兩年,正港HONDA S2000後繼車預備!

2007年以最終型態Type S問世的S2000,是HONDA為了迎接千禧年的力作,也是該品牌罕見的FR車款,雖歷經小改款與戰力提升,然而對消費者來說產品新鮮感卻不高,因此原廠計畫在2010年推出第二代車型,除了外觀上作全面更新,並將採用時下流行的電動硬頂敞篷結構。

同樣以雙座敞篷FR為概念所打造的新S2000,據AutoNet所掌握的最新訊息顯示,外觀造型將和現行款有非常大差異,目前的版本大走速度感,新車型則改走豪華路線,因此會更為圓潤,而HONDA在21世紀的六角水箱護罩家族特徵並不會出現,就如同下一代NSX擁有自己的風格。基於車體安全結構和便利性等因素,電動硬頂敞篷可是新車型的標準配置,一來可取代已經停產的Prelude,二來能隨時轉換身份,這對車主來說肯定是好事。

動力上將換成排氣量2.4-2.5升的DOHC iVTEC引擎,並採用熱血性能迷最愛的紅頭汽缸蓋,縱置直四心臟可發揮至少270-290hp馬力,但最讓人興奮的是,這具重新調校的心臟將和雙離合器變速系統搭配,這可是HONDA第一次使用這種系統,也看得出HONDA逐漸向潮流靠攏。至於底盤方面應會使用前雙A臂、後多連桿懸吊結構,以讓新S2000同時獲得操控性和舒適性。

而價格方面,新S2000搞不好會比現行款更為便宜些,約莫落在日幣300萬圓起跳,折合新台幣97萬元左右,不過頂級車款恐將突破400萬圓(新台幣130萬元),當然為了美國市場,新S2000也同時具備左右駕兩種版本。
