HONDA CR-V(Estate-Style SUV)
1996~now
在台灣，CR-V曾經創造了兩個高峰，第一個是一代CR-V在台灣銷售時，其他國產車尚未有SUV對應，所以熱銷無人能擋。第二個是目前第三代的CR-V，在2008年景氣不佳的時候，銷售依舊是台灣車市地區國產SUV的冠軍。
被歸類在小型compact SUV的HONDA CR-V，以Civic底盤維設計基礎，第一代由HONDA在1996日本發表，HONDA對於CR-V的定位有兩種，一種是UK市場稱為"Compact Recreational Vehicle"，另一種是日本原廠稱為"Comfortable Runabout Vehicle"，分為二輪驅動與四輪驅動，不管定義如何，其實都是不具越野能力的SUV車款。
CR-V全世界有六個地方製造生產，英國、日本、北美、中國、墨西哥與台灣，1996年底與TOYOTA的RAV4正式交鋒，自此成為銷售上的對手。
1996~2001年是CR-V第一代的生產週期，四缸2.0升引擎有126hp最大馬力與18.3kgm最大扭力，而塑料包裹的前後保桿與四個車門下半部的實用灰黑塑膠防刮版設計，也是首創的點子。
CR-V使用車身式大樑結構，配合四輪雙A臂獨立懸吊的設計，與傳統SUV設計相差甚遠，主要是偏向轎車的穩定與舒適設定。後底板上蓋設計成可活動的野餐桌也是當時的創舉。
2001~2006是第二代CR-V的週期，隨著第七代Civic的上市，CR-V也順勢改款，引擎提升到160hp與22.4kgm，引擎導入了i-VTEC系統與新的底盤，前麥花臣後雙A臂懸吊也提升了二代CR-V的操控，順便增加了後行李箱空間。二代CR-V獲得了美國Car And Driver雜誌的最佳小型SUV的獎項，由2002年到2003年連續兩年獲獎。原先一代尾門可以單獨上掀玻璃置放行李的功能也取消，改為傳統單片尾門側開方式。
第三代CR-V由2007發表至今，新款CR-V北美地區採用2.4升166hp馬力引擎，歐洲則提供2.2升i-CTDI柴油引擎，與2.0升SOHC i-VTEC汽油引擎。第三代CR-V完全捨棄越野形象，車尾門再也看不見備胎，車身更低、更寬也更短，短的原因部份來自備胎除去的關係。
2007年，CR-V成為美國市場銷售第一的小型SUV車款，前十五年都是FORD Explorer獲得。
