ACURA TSX 將在北美市場首度提供柴油動力？！

這對於主要以北美市場起家的HONDA旗下高級汽車品牌ACURA來說是頭一遭！

根據最新外電消息指出，為著眼於北美新車市場，因為油價高漲等因素，對於歐規環保節能柴油動力有愈來愈濃厚的興趣，加上未來HONDA原廠計畫讓現行歐規Accord車系所搭載的共軌柴油引擎，推出符合美規環保排廢標準的版本，在不久之後美規ACURA TSX將追加柴油新動力。
目前歐規八代HONDA Accord車系所搭載的柴油動力，主要為一具符合歐盟五期環保法規的2.2升i-DTEC共軌柴油引擎，並且採用與德國BOSCH集團合作研發的新世代共軌噴射系統，根據歐規HONDA Accord的油耗測試結果，市區行駛的環境下，每公升超級柴油可跑出平均12公里的距離，在定速90km/h的情況下可跑出超過18公里的距離。
另外這具新世代的環保節能共軌柴油動力系統，最大馬力也達到140hp的水準，峰值扭力更強達34.56kgm的水準，而最快搭載這具引擎的美規ACURA TSX可望在明年正式發表，並且以2010年式新車身份發售，成為ACURA品牌成立以來的首款柴油動力新車。
