HONDA日前宣佈將在2008年10月的伊斯坦堡車展展出2009年式HONDA City。

HONDA日前宣佈將在2008年10月的伊斯坦堡車展展出2009年式HONDA City，作為在歐洲幾個特定市場上市前的首演，並且未來發表將以中歐與東歐為主；市場主要競爭對手為剛在法國上市的DACIA Logan小型房車，在設計、性能與科技上極為相似，不過價格上一般預估會高出一些。

HONDA City販售於歐洲的引擎除了有1.4升i-VTEC引擎，最大馬力100hp之外，還有另一個120hp的1.5升版本作為主要的東歐市場銷售。

2009年式的HONDA City與另一部新車Jazz（也就是即將於台灣上市的Fit）採相同小型房車平台打造，販售於歐洲的引擎除了有1.4升i-VTEC引擎，最大馬力100hp之外，還有另一個120hp的1.5升版本作為主要的東歐市場銷售；另外在變速箱形式上，除了新增一個五速手排之外，原有的五速自排也提升為同步嚙合形式，讓自動換檔機制更為流暢，0-100km/l加速可達11.8秒（手排）與14.7秒（自排）。
與HONDA Jazz同一平台打造，因而受惠於許多獲獎科技的加持，無論在內裝上與操控上都讓2009年式的HONDA City在市場中更具競爭力，像是ACE車體結構設計（Advanced Compatibility Engineering）除了能提供乘客更完整的防護，也是HONDA Jazz進軍歐洲市場相當重要的優勢。
