    HONDA著手開發雙馬達Hybrid Minivan

2009年即將誕生的Insight,是HONDA正式強化Hybrid戰略的首部曲,過去雖有Civic Hybrid、Accord Hybrid等車型,但市場接受度卻不高,且眼看著TOYOTA Prius獨霸,以發動機起家的HONDA自然不讓TOYOTA專美於前。除了Insight外,不僅CR-Z概念車基礎的運動小鋼砲、Fit都將陸續問世,現在已著手開發具備雙馬達的Minivan Hybrid。

確定在2009年正式量產,並打出低價策略的Isight,日本、歐洲、美國三大市場總計銷售目標為一年20萬輛,另外加上CR-Z基礎小跑車、Fit Hybrid、Civic Hybrid後總計四款車全年可拿下Hybrid 50萬輛的市場,然而這樣的規模要對抗TOYOTA Hybrid大軍實在有些困難,因此HONDA已經著手開發全新Minivan,不僅搭配IMA Hybrid系統,且還配置兩具馬達,以供應充沛的動力。

根據瞭解,這款全新開發的Minivan Hybrid,車身尺寸將與現行Stream差不多,甚至還會稍大些,新車型之所以採用雙馬達配置,是因為在北美限定車款Accord Hybrid的車身過重,對於油耗表現沒有太大幫助,所以早在2006年就已經停產。為了顧及多人乘坐的需求,HONDA全新開發的Minivan Hybrid,估計將配置1.5升-1.8升的汽油引擎,馬力輸出至少擁有120-150hp實力,加上兩具馬達後總輸出馬力上探200-220hp。

雖然最近國際原油價格持續下滑,但HONDA認為這僅是暫時性,因為飽受金融風暴衝擊的全球市場,恐將在2-3年內逐漸回溫,爾後油價將再度攀升,並影響原物料等價格,所以環保節能車必將是未來的一大趨勢,這也是何以投入開發Minivan Hybrid的主要原因。
