2008廣州車展搶先報：HONDA New City中國版「廣州本田思迪」升級版即將發表！

在不久之前，我們率先披露有關於全新2009年式HONDA City中小型三廂四門房車的訊息，根據最新消息指出，廣州本田也將導入這款新車國產化，新車確定將在本月開幕的2008廣州國際車展發表，並且以2009年式新車身份在當地投產上市。

但這款新車產品定位已經比原有的廣州本田思迪HONDA City來得高，所以廣州本田確定在新一代2009年式HONDA City投產後，將有全新的產品定位與命名，並且保留原有思迪車款持續銷售，根據當地業界人士評估，這款全新的廣州本田中小型三廂房車，剛好填補了現行廣州本田思迪與東風本田思域之間的市場空缺，整體來說絕對有助於HONDA品牌在當地傳統房車級距市場佔有率的擴張。
由於全新2009年式HONDA City新車車身長度與寬度分別比「廣州本田思迪」多出10mm和5mm，軸距更達到2550mm，無論是車室空間或是產品定位都明顯高於廣州本田思迪，由於考量到HONDA整體產品戰略，廣州本田導入國產化的這款新車，入門車款將搭載與現行思迪相同的1.5升汽油直四引擎（本體與台灣本田國產化HONDA City相同），而且入門車款就搭配尺碼為175/65R15的原廠配胎。
但受到當地車壇關注的是，新車也將提供排氣量為1.8升的汽油直四引擎，原廠公布最大馬力達到了140hp，安全極速也可達198km/h，所以在產品力方面顯然會影響到競爭對手一汽豐田花冠EX或一汽豐田卡羅拉入門車款，當然未來的定價策略將絕對影響到同級市場的生態，我們也將持續為您關注於這款全新三廂房車的後續消息。
