2009年式歐規HONDA Jazz由本田中國位於廣州的整車廠製造外銷。

雖然因為金融海嘯尚未停歇，包括許多全球性的中大型汽車集團，紛紛宣布減產或裁員的消息，但是對於日本HONDA本田技研來說，危機就是最好的轉機，所以日前HONDA日本營運總部，也正研議提昇中國境內整車廠新車產能的目標，讓全球各主要生產據點的平均整車生產成本可以降低！
我們日前曾經報導過，由日本HONDA、廣州汽車集團與東風汽車集團合資建立專門管理整車外銷事宜的「本田中國」，正式慶祝在中國達成外銷十萬輛新車目標之後，由於當地生產據點負責生產外銷歐洲市場的HONDA Jazz小車，由2005年開始迄今成效卓著，也讓HONDA原廠對於中國廠的產能與品質信心大幅提昇，相較於其他各地的生產據點來說，本田位於中國的生產設備效能也成為全球各廠中的模範。
目前本田中國每年約外銷4.3萬輛整車至歐洲銷售，日本原廠正研議有關於增產的計畫，但增產的規模雖然是主要考量，但產品品質的維護更成為關注的核心議題之一。
HONDA執行長福井威夫在日前廣州出席本田中國外銷整車累積十萬輛的慶祝儀式中表示，在不久的將HONDA與本田中國將緊密合作，初期利用現行生產線進行運轉速度與效能的提昇計畫，將出口整車年產量提昇至六萬輛的水準，但評估若將產能提昇至十萬輛，本田中國勢必針對這條位於廣州的生產線全面升級。
