    讓TOYOTA倍感壓力,HONDA Hybrid車全球銷售累積超過30萬輛

雖然TOYOTA喊出一年銷售100萬輛Hybrid車,但HONDA也不是省油的燈,不僅推出相當便宜的第二代Insight,更隨著景氣進行產品調整,增加許多全新開發的Hybrid車款,期望能創造另一個市場區隔,並站穩技術本位的地位。

打從1999年11月第一代Insight在日本販售,並在歐美及世界40多個市場銷售,到2009年1月底為止,HONDA於全球總計銷售30萬輛的Hybrid車,包含第一代Insight、Civic Hybrid、Accord Hybrid等三款車型,其中第一代Insight於日本、美國與歐洲共銷售17020輛,2001年12月的Civic Hybrid推出後在日本、美國、歐洲與亞洲共銷售255249輛,而2004年12月誕生的Accord Hybrid因為是針對北美市場所設定,故在當地銷售了28471輛,合計9年2個月裡Hybrid車共銷售300740輛,雖然與TOYOTA相比數量不多,但驚人的實力倒也在車壇造成不小震撼。

所以當HONDA在2009年底特律車展正式發表第二代Insight,並在2月份在日本販售,價格從日幣189萬圓(約新台幣70.9萬元)起跳,比起新Prius還要便宜,因此在短短五天內共計銷售超過1萬輛,較初期目標的每月5000輛足足多出一倍,使得TOYOTA必須保留上一代Prius以低價與之對抗。

正因為新Insight在價格上非常有競爭力,產品也有不少優勢,所以HONDA是以全球銷售20萬輛為年度目標。除了第二代Insight之外,接下來原廠將以發展Hybrid車款為主軸,像先前以概念車身份出現的CR-Z,也確定在2010年發表量產版本,此外還有Fit Hybrid版及其他相關車款,以這樣的態勢發展下去未來HONDA要在Hybrid領域追上TOYOTA,應該是指日可待!
