HONDA秘密開發Plug-in Hybrid進行中！

要成為Hybrid，就需要有Plug-in隨走隨插的的功能，而HONDA所自行研發的IMA系統，不若TOYOTA的TSH能以電動馬達單獨作業，基本上必需算是輔助汽油引擎來進行車輛驅動，而先前HONDA社長福井威夫對於Hybrid技術的開發也語帶保留，不過據AutoNet所取得的獨家訊息顯示，目前HONDA正在進行研發Plug-in的技術，也就是說接下來HONDA Hybrid車款將具備隨充隨跑的功能。

為了延長Hybrid或者電動車的續航力，Plug-in可是相當重要且重大的技術突破，能在車上裝著插頭，進行「走到哪充到哪」能源補充，原本續航距離僅有50公里便能延長至一倍或數倍，行駛距離增加自然也提高便利性，因此許多車廠都致力於Plug-in的開發。像TOYOTA、MITSUBISHI等都已經準備推出量產型的Plug-in產品，不過也計畫大量開發Hybrid車款的HONDA，礙於IMA系統無法獨立運作達到行駛功能，故在Plug-in這方面較少著墨。

但實際上真的如此嗎？由本田宗一郎所創立追求動力科技的HONDA應該不會放棄這種趨勢。

沒錯！基本上HONDA早就開始進行Plug-in的技術研發，縱使IMA系統結構簡單成本又低，但要加入變壓器、插頭等小配備卻屬於大工程，並非隨便加裝即可，此外還要讓電動馬達能進行獨立驅動，因此要在短時間內完成IMA Plug-in的整合，依照現在的技術來看最快還要1年左右。至於什麼時候HONDA能將Plug-in整合到IMA？搞不好Fit Hybrid就會成為標準配備。
