Civic Type R英國重生強更強，MUGEN Civic Type R也即將發表！

就在先前AutoNet為各位掌握到HONDA英國的Swindon工廠將恢復Civic Type R的生產之後，原廠的改裝品牌MUGEN在日前也傳出即將發表強勁的MUGEN Civic Type R性能掀背車，儘管消息截至目前止仍然相當有限，不過預估將在2009年秋季上市的MUGEN Civic Type R售價將落於3.5至4萬英鎊之間。
根據初步瞭解，動力系統將以歐規MUGEN Civic Type R三門版所搭載的2.0L直列四缸VTEC汽油引擎為基礎進行調校，MUGEN預計可將原本201hp最大馬力再度提升至至少240hp，並且在競技型懸吊、探纖維空力套件以及競技式樣無後座內裝的搭配下，再提供一系列MUGEN原廠客製化改裝套件支援，可望在英國的掀背鋼砲市場中直接威脅到FORD Focus RS與RENAULT Megane R26.R，不過MUGEN Civic Type R在英國的預估售價大約比上述兩款車型貴了一萬英鎊左右。
