HONDA Fit榮登上半年日本乘用車銷售冠軍…但TOYOTA Prius緊追在後！

在日本現在訂車要等到2010年才能交車的TOYOTA Prius，在5月份將乘用車銷售冠軍的HONDA Insight擠下，6月份更擊敗輕型車龍頭SUZUKI Wagon R，以22292輛的成績成為日本新車市場銷售總冠軍，因此2009年1-6月乘用車銷售冠軍的HONDA Fit，其地位岌岌可危。

早在TOYOTA Prius出現之前，HONDA Fit於2009年1-3月的銷售一直保持乘用車冠軍地位，直到4月同廠的Hybrid熱門產品第二代Insight造成轟動，Fit才讓出榜首地位，讓Insight以11481輛取代。不過TOYOTA Prius來勢洶洶，5月以10915輛擠下Insight，6月更以超過2萬輛站上日本新車銷售總冠軍。

雖然1-6月Fit仍以65589輛領先，不過擁有51410輛的Prius卻以一介Hybrid車緊追在後，倘若以Prius訂單超過18萬張來看，2009年度日本新車銷售總霸主應該非Prius莫屬。
