HONDA印度製全新2010年式City Variant正式發售！

身為HONDA在亞洲市場相當重要的小型房車產品，去年底已經率先在廣汽本田投產的新鋒範車系，到了南亞的印度市場車系改名為HONDA Coty Variant，以與昔日的入門小型三廂房車City予以區別，不過在印度廠全面投產後，原有舊款HONDA City已經正式停產，與廣汽本田新舊車系並售的狀況完全不同。

根據HONDA Siel Cars India (HSCI) Ltd.原廠表示，這款新車日前上市的版本，2010年式新車將提供包括入門的City 1.5V與1.5S運動化版本，後者更提供消費者可加價選配原廠套件的版本。
全新世代由印度整車廠投產的南亞版2010年式HONDA City新車，在當地投產的車款重力系統搭載一具排氣量為1.5L的汽油直列四缸引擎，這具SOHC單凸輪軸iVTEC可變氣門引擎，最大馬力雜到118hp/4800rpm，峰值扭力達到14.9kgm/4800rpm，目前提供五速手排為標準配置，但當地消費者還可以加價選配可在方向盤上換檔的五速自排變速系統。

此外這款新車全面將前座雙氣囊與 ABS+EBD整合煞車系統列為標準配備，標準配置為前碟後鼓煞車，而懸吊採用前麥花臣與後拖曳臂結構，並且具備電子控制動力方向盤，為了符合各地城鄉路況，原廠特地針對轉向機構進行調校，讓這款中小型房車的迴轉半徑降低至5.3m的水準，與其達到4420×1695×1480mm的車身尺碼（軸距為2550mm）的大小相比，更有利於在都會區狹窄道路靈活行動。

HONDA印度分公司表示，在新車正式發售前，就已經獲得印度年度風雲車（ICOTY-Indian Car of the Year 2009）的榮銜，而且也在全球各地獲得至少12座大獎。
各車型建議售價如後：
City 1.5S MT：83.7萬盧比，約合新台幣56.4萬元
City 1.5V MT：88.2萬盧比，約合新台幣59.4萬元
City 1.5V AT：95.4萬盧比，約合新台幣64.3萬元
City 1.5S MT Elegance：87.3萬盧比，約合新台幣58.8萬元
City 1.5S MT Inspire：90.7萬盧比，約合新台幣61.12萬元
City 1.5V MT Elegance：91.6萬盧比，約合新台幣61.72萬元
City 1.5V MT Inspire：95.2萬盧比，約合新台幣64.15萬元
City 1.5V AT Elegance：98.8萬盧比，約合新台幣66.58萬元
City 1.5V AT Inspire：102.4萬盧比 ，約合新台幣69萬元
