HONDA英國Swindon生產主力車款，Fit歐規版Jazz讓總產能上探11萬輛

由於歐洲市場是以掀背車為主力，經營當地已有很長時間的日本HONDA決定將熱銷銷行掀背車Fit導入英國進行在地化生產，並以Jazz之名銷售，這也是HONDA繼Civic、CR-V之後第三款在英國Swindon誕生的車種，同時也被視為未來最主力產品。
HONDA在2009年1-8月歐洲新車銷售呈現衰退，比起2008年同期減少9.2﹪僅151,989輛，不過在8月份卻成長10.4％達11,855輛，正因為歐洲經濟有復甦趨勢，且用車購車習慣開始改變，再加上日幣匯率攀升，在成本與獲利考量下讓HONDA願意將Fit導入英國實行在地化生產。
每年在歐洲約有7萬輛銷售成績的Jazz，算是HONDA旗下相當受歡迎的車款，然而絕大多數Jazz都是由日本製造再進行外銷，怎麼算成本都划不來，因此HONDA決定在英國Swindon廠實行在地化生產計畫，以讓Jazz以更貼近當地消費者需求。
Swindon將在2010年3月之前生產2萬輛Jazz，約75﹪在英國銷售，剩下的25％則行銷到歐洲與南非等市場，總計將提供世界55國的需求。另外Swindon廠在Jazz加入後，2010年產能總計可達100,600輛，這對當地員工無疑是生活工作上的一大保障。
