    英國DC Electronics與JDR合作,HONDA NSX賽車重建大功告成!

儘管HONDA已經在先前針對日本2010年度Super GT賽事,發表了NSX的後繼車款HSV-010GT,不過許多賽車領域的職人對於首發於1990年的第一代NSX賽車的先進設計仍然是相當推崇,像是日前來自英國引擎線路專家DC Electronics便與John Danby Racing賽車工程合作,計畫以更新引擎電系動作,來使2002年式的HONDA NSX能夠重返21世紀的賽場。

John Danby Racing在先前是以LOTUS Elise來進行賽車工程,並且成功的在Britcar Championship賽季中奪得相當不凡的成績,而面對2010年Britcar Championship賽季再度即將展開,John Danby Racing便決定以NSX賽車參賽;根據DC Electronics總經理David Cunliffe表示:「一切從零開始,我們跟John Danby Racing要以最合理的價格來創造最有效能的配置,而關鍵在於,最終的系統將以模組化呈現,讓更多的硬體套件能夠更輕易的與整體設計整合。」

目前裝設在NSX賽車上的除了原有中置3.2L V6引擎之外,還包含了PECTEL提供的引擎控制原件、Ole Buhl Racing開發的動力控制系統、MoTeC的數據記錄器與Drivedata的變速箱攝影記錄器等,雖然皆是來自各大廠的套件,不過當他們整合起來便是相當強大的賽車監控系統,當然更重要的是,該系統本身提供相當大的可擴充性,像是可再依需求加入換檔撥片、ABS、電子動力方向盤等套件;而線路配置與輕量化的控制皆在DC Electronics的控制之中,也就是一具透過CAN Bus與動力控制模組連結的16頻控制面版。

這輛搭載全新電子控制系統而重生的HONDA NSX,已經在2009年11月首度在賽道上完成測試比賽,在90分鐘的賽程中以第二名完賽,展先相當高的成熟度以及系統的穩定度,讓John Danby Racing相當期待2010年賽季的到來。
