九代目走環保路線，HONDA新Civic 2010年10月誕生？

同樣在五年改款週期即將大變身的Civic，不僅是HONDA最成功的戰略車種，也衍生出許多同底盤兄弟，而新一代Civic在原廠規劃下將在2010年10月推出，根據AutoNet所獲得的獨家訊息顯示，第九代Civic共有2.0L自然進氣汽油引擎和1.5L Hybrid兩種動力，至於高性能的Type R恐怕將成歷史。
預計在今年10月於日本上市的第九代Civic，將沿用現行第八代的車體結構和底盤，但為了創造更寬敞舒適的車艙空間，軸距將加長些許，外觀造型上則頗有Insight的影子，賦予21世紀HONDA家族水箱護罩，車型上僅有四門一種，歐規版將保留三門/五門掀背，美規版在四門之外保留雙門。
不過在動力方面HONDA力求簡單化，日規版僅有一具2.0L直列四缸汽油引擎，估計最大馬力輸出約160hp，另外，為了擴大在環保節能與Hybrid領域的佔有率，2月份即將問世的CR-Z所搭載之1.5L直列四缸DOHC汽油心臟+電動馬達組合，也將成為第九代Civic的Hybrid動力系統選擇，估計這具汽油心臟在調校後可發揮115hp/15.0kgm功率，搭配電動馬達的14hp/8.0kgm後整體應有120hp/18.0kgm的實力，變速系統除了五速自排，Hybrid僅配置CVT，當然為了提升駕馭樂趣，方向盤換檔撥片應該會入列。至於歐規版將增加1.4L柴油心臟選擇。
至於台灣何時會導入國產化？倘若以過去的速度和經驗來看，似乎要等到2011年第二季左右，而引擎排氣量是否僅保留2.0L？還是因應中國市場再增加1.8L？或者也將Hybrid列為國產化標準？恐怕只有等時間越接近才會更明朗。
