推動氫燃料電池車款，HONDA在美西發表新一代太陽能製氫充氣站

車用替代能源的發展刻不容緩，HONDA近日在美國洛杉磯的HONDA美國研究發展中心展示新一代太陽能製氫充氣站原型，此先進設施發展的最終目標是希望燃料電池車款能夠在一夜之間充電完成，在電力耗盡之後，一早就能夠讓車主安心地出門。
HONDA所開發的新一代太陽能製氫充氣站原型，同樣是透過太陽能將純水轉化為氫氣與氧氣，透過源源不絕的可再生能源－氫氣，讓使用氫氣為燃料的氫燃料車款可以實現人類創造零排污環保交通工具的遠大目標，不僅為了地球與大地萬物的未來，更因為日趨嚴重的地球暖化問題，解決刻不容緩。
根據HONDA所公佈的資料顯示，新一代太陽能製氫充氣站的規模較小，充氣設施在夜間約8個小時，可以分解0.5kg氫氣，如此份量的氫氣補充便已足夠氫燃料車款使用於日常通勤與代步。
新一代太陽能製氫充氣站的設施有所更新，前一代設施主要是透過電解槽與壓縮機分解出高壓氫氣，但是壓縮機不僅體積龐大、造價昂貴，也無助於系統運作的效率提升。新一代設施則透過全新高壓電解槽分解出高壓氫氣，完全不需要壓縮機，系統運作的效率提升更超過25％。
