    HONDA Insight未達20萬輛年銷售關鍵?車型大小所致!

HONDA副總裁Koichi Kondo日前接受媒體採訪時表示,Insight第一年銷售表現不如預期,乃是因為消費者對於車身尺碼過於注重!
HONDA新世代Insight油電複合車型即將問世滿一年,對於去年上市時信誓旦旦的20萬輛年銷售目標,迄今僅有達成130,445輛,離目標還有一大段差距,對於此,HONDA作何解釋?

HONDA副總裁Koichi Kondo日前接受知名媒體Bloomberg專訪時表示:「再我們距離銷售目標最大差異的北美市場中,我認為當地消費者在追求更出色油耗表現的車款時,依舊受限於過往購車框架—車型大小。」

眾所皆知,後推出的全新TOYOTA Prius,同樣搭載的Hybrid油電複合動力系統,但於銷售面表現更勝Insight一籌,Koichi Kondo認為會有此差距,主要是因為Prius有著更大的車身尺碼,而北美消費者依舊有著「車大就是美」的傳統購車觀念,因此PriusKoichi Kondo認為Insight不是輸在科技面,而是「車身大小」!

於美國市場中,新世代Insight車型原先預估有著九萬輛的年銷售量,但迄今卻僅有達成了20,572輛,不可諱言的,北美市場的挫敗,乃是Insight無法有效達成20萬輛年銷售目標的致命關鍵。

至於未來的Fit Hybrid車型,Koichi Kondo則表示,由於目前北美市場對於Fit車型的油耗表現已相當滿意,Fit Hybrid要如何突破,更是讓研發團隊傷透了腦筋!

至於今年北美底特律車展現身的HONDA CR-Z Hybrid油電複合動力小跑車,是否可以其獨特的車型定位強化HONDA於此科技領域的印象,仍需問世後的市場反應而定。
