2001~2002年式國產HONDA Accord召回，三陽工業全力服務

HONDA為確保車主權益，於2月10日在北美與日本等國銷售之部份車型，因為駕駛座SRS防護氣囊內部的膨脹器作動壓力問題，決定實施召回改正全球車款累計達到437,763輛，其中也包括台灣三陽工業製造之2001-2002年式國產HONDA Accord。
本次召回活動經HONDA通知三陽工業於2001年1月2日至2002年3月14日Honda所授權製造之部分Accord 2.0及3.0 V6房車數量共有1361輛，三陽公司已於去年因本案配合Honda主動召回858輛，本次亦將配合召回改正。
針對膨脹器瑕疵，HONDA辦理全面性召回改正活動，雖然目前台灣未有傷亡事件發生，HONDA仍將提供〔駕駛側空氣囊內的膨脹器〕零件與作業規範給三陽工業轉由總代理南陽/南誠公司各服務廠依照標準作業辦理召回檢修。
雖然日本HONDA已於2002年6月結束與三陽工業之技術合作，三陽工業亦於同年與韓國現代汽車建立技術合作關係總代理生產及銷售韓國現代汽車，但三陽工業本於對顧客的承諾與責任，所屬南陽/南誠公司各服務廠不但不計成本維持HYUNDAI汽車及HONDA汽車之雙線服務，每年亦定期舉辦回娘家等專屬服務。針對本次召回原代理銷售之HONDA ACCORD對象車，南陽/南誠公司將主動以掛號信件通知顧客回廠免費更換檢修。
