    讓TOYOTA Vitz吃不消的第一代HONDA Fit

HONDA五門掀背車Fit,2001年6月在日本推出後便獲得廣大的迴響,甚至還將排行榜上的常勝軍TOYOTA Vitz(台灣Yaris的上一代)硬生生從冠軍寶座給拖下來,最主要除了外型討喜,車室寬敞也是一大主因,同時多變化的空間和充裕的動力輸出,再加上容易駕馭的優點和高經濟性,無怪乎每月約有1.5萬輛的銷售成績。

3830×1675×1525mm的身材搭配2450mm的軸距,雖然車身外觀不大,卻也能輕鬆容納5名成人,而且在都會區中的靈活性絕對充足,因為迴轉半徑僅4.7m。動力上Fit搭載一具1339cc的i-DSI單凸輪軸引擎,輸出功率分別為86hp/5700rpm馬力與12.1kgm/2800rpm扭力,搭配無段自動Muti-Matic S變速箱後,駕馭順暢度絕對優於一般傳統自排變速箱;而990kg的車重也不因此造成負擔。此外,2001年9月起Fit追加一具1496cc的單凸輪軸VTEC引擎,這具動力心臟裝置在2000年底問世的Mobilio,經過調校後功率輸出可達馬力110hp/5800rpm、扭力14.6kgm/4800rpm,同時將CVT變更為7檔位,並附上方向盤檔位升降控制功能,內裝與外觀則賦予更強烈的性能風格。

當然HONDA與TOYOTA之間的戰爭並未結束,由於產品週期的關係,TOYOTA Vitz早HONDA Fit進行大改款,這下雖將銷售冠軍寶座拱手讓出,但卻早就奠定Fit在消費者心目中的地位,因此在第二代問世後仍有不錯的銷售成績。
