氣囊膨脹異常，南陽實業與HONDA Taiwan配合實施2001、02年式Civic Ferio召回檢修作業

日前國際的消息指出，HONDA已經針對2001、02年式之Civic Ferio部分車型，實施召回檢修，原因是有部分此年式車型的副駕駛座右側防護氣囊在事故發生時，裝填在理面得火葯將異常燃燒使膨脹裝置內壓力異常上升，此異常作動將可能對乘客造成受傷，而Civic Ferio在2000年底於台灣發表，當時在台製造與販售的總代理為南陽實業，也因此日前南陽實業特別發出消息，將提供Civic Ferio車主回廠免費檢修的服務。
而HONDA方面，原廠表示由於協力廠商製造上之疏失，使部分配備有副駕駛座右側防護氣囊的車款，當事故發生時氣囊展開之際，火葯將異常燃燒使膨脹裝置內壓力異常上升，此異常作動將可能對乘客造成受傷，而HONDA原廠也表示，與其它車廠使用同一類型膨脹裝置，在確保安全的狀況下，將積極採取市場對應措施。
AutoNet也向HONDA Taiwan詢問相關處理進度，HONDA Taiwan除了已經配合調查三陽工業於2001~2002年台灣生產之該型CIVIC是否屬於影響範圍內，若證實有影響時，將配合主動通知車主回廠免費更換膨脹裝置，並且由於HONDA原廠的更換料件已經提供給南陽實業，若是車主前往HONDA保修中心，HONDA也將盡到告知車主前往南陽實業保修廠的義務。
